Reworked World 2021: The Sustainable Fashion Show + Art Experience

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

Tailor Sallee is saving the planet one outfit at a time. Tailor Sallee hosted the first annual Reworked World: The Sustainable Fashion Show + Art Experience at The Art Institute of Tampa on 10/29/21. The team came together to create an event full of space themed art installations where humans and the environment could connect through eco-friendly fashion to raise awareness on sustainability. Reworked World featured a local market of conscious creators for our guests to shop sustainably for the evening. Some of the conscious vendors included 7th Dimension Thrift, Uncut Leather and Art Heals.

The conscious market was followed up by out of this world live aerial hoop and silk acts from Meg's Playground & Imperfectly Perfect Amy leading up to a musical performance featuring original tracks by special guest, Mikel SoulHop. Mikel and his backup dancer were also sporting full custom made Tailor Sallee patchwork outfits.

Last, but defiantly not least, slow fashion brands Blue Villain, One of One Atelier, Josi 2xxx and Tailor Sallee hit the runway to showcase some rare wearable art. Each designer brought their own unique flair to Reworked World.

Behind the Scenes vegan Makeup Artist, Victoria Shelton and Hairstylist, Vince Saladino transformed models into extraterrestrial enchantresses.
